Mire Cabinet Works Inc was founded in 1946 by Roy Mire, a skilled craftsman whose dedication to quality and precision quickly earned the trust of homeowners and builders across Southeast Texas. What began as a small local shop grew steadily as Roy’s reputation for craftsmanship spread throughout the region.
In 1966, the business was purchased by Harold Henderson, who had worked alongside Roy and shared his commitment to excellence. Harold expanded the company’s capabilities and continued building on the strong foundation laid by Roy for more than four decades.
Since 2009, Mire Cabinet Works has been co‑owned by Chad Henderson and Cheryl Broussard. Cheryl’s husband, Robert Broussard, has been a key part of the company for more than 34 years, contributing his expertise to countless projects across Southeast Texas.
In 2025, Mire Cabinet Works was honored by the America’s Small Business Development Center – Texas Gulf Coast Network for 79 years of business. That same year, the company received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Randy K. Weber, United States Representative for the 14th Congressional District of Texas.
As of 2026, Mire Cabinet Works proudly celebrates 80 years of craftsmanship, continuing a tradition of quality, integrity, and service that has defined the company for generations.
